Home Office Style

I’ve been so excited to share my home office space with you babes! For awhile, my office was pushed into the corner of our spare bedroom that was never actually used for a bedroom. I needed more space to feel inspired for you all on a daily basis and somewhere that I could sit down and feel good about getting work done. Not to mention that I was running out of closet space in our master closet no matter how many times I did clean outs.

I knew I wanted my small space office/closet to be a bright, clean space.  If there is too much going on in the office, my brain can’t get focused.  I used things I already had and purchased some new items.  Overall, I am SO happy with they way it turned out.  Painting a space is the easiest way to brighten/freshen up a space.  I used the color Cameo Stone by BEHR. It’s the most perfect warm tone of pink. Picking paint can be tough, so always make sure to test it in your space first.  The same paint color can look different in every room of your house.

Wanna know the kicker?? Eventually this room will become a nursery for our next baby so I only get to enjoy this space for a year or so.  BUT with that being said, you’ll be able to enjoy another home office renovation once I move it again! Okay now on to the fun stuff. ENJOY!

My desk is one of my favorite pieces of furniture I purchased for my home when we bought it a few years ago.  Here is my exact one.  When designing my new office, I knew I wanted it to have touches of blush and gold on it. I decided to center my desk in the middle of the room with two gold frames behind me.  I love the way the desk is positioned because I look directly at my new clothes rack that I am OBSESSED with!

My new clothes rack is another favorite part of this office!  This is where I can hang all new clothes to feel inspired by.  It adds the perfect girly touch this space.  This rack was affordable and SO easy to put together which is a major plus. The quality is amazing and not to mention the adorable lavender color! I love the way it contrasts against the pink wall.

Adding a few fun touches of detail really completes the look of the room.  Like I said, I wanted this space to feel bright and clean so I didn’t add too many extra furniture pieces to the space. Just enough to make it feel cozy and inspiring!
