Hi! So glad you came to visit! My name is Morgan and I’m a 28 year old mama living in Upstate New York. I am married to my better half, Chris and we became parents to the sweetest boy, Cash Christopher Botsford, on March 31st, 2017. Our whole world changed in ways that we didn’t even know was possible! My heart was exploding with love (and still is)! Motherhood is by far my best accomplishment and favorite part of every day, but I also have a passion for style and beauty. Since I can remember , I have been looking for ways to express that passion and find a creative outlet.
I started college at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, majoring in Fashion Merchandising Management and decided that I didn’t love what I was doing. I was shocked by myself and quickly uprooted my college life back to Upstate New York and graduated from Syracuse University with a Child and Family Studies degree. I became a Preschool teacher and now a Program Director. I work full time Monday through Friday. And even with all the craziness of work, trying to juggle motherhood, being a wife and everything in between, I still longed for a way to explore my passions. Before getting pregnant, I started looking into rental space to open my own boutique in Syracuse and then BAM- once I was pregnant I was sick. And tired. And sick some more. And that dream quickly went to the way side.
After becoming a Mom, I found myself sitting at home a lot (obviously! I had a newborn and didn’t know what the heck I was doing!) and started feeling like I was losing myself and who I was. I had this new identity as a mama and I LOVED it but needed an outlet. I started scrolling through social media more than ever before and became connected with an amazing community of mamas/bloggers/and women who are always so positive and supportive of each other! That’s when I decided I was going to start an Instagram account to share my journey through motherhood and hopefully inspire others as much as they have inspired me. That turned into sharing my life in general. This blog is my new project where I will be sharing motherhood life/tips, affordable style and beauty, home decor and so much more! And if it inspires even one of you, then its worth every minute of my time. Enjoy exploring!
