Beau’s Newborn Photos

It’s been awhile since I’ve written a post for all my followers! Thanks for sticking around during this crazy year as I’m sure all of us have had to adjust our lives and schedules and really focus on what matters most to us these days.  This blog will always mean so much and I’m so grateful for all of YOU who show up to it!

My kids are always number one to me so when it comes to sharing about them, I love to do it. If you’re a local follower, then you don’t want to miss out on this photographer I’m about to share.  As most of you know, we welcomed our second baby boy, Beau Patrick Botsford, into the world in August.  I can’t even believe he is already 2 months old. The amount of love and joy he has brought to our family is overwhelming!

Capturing those first few days of your babies life is something you will not want to forget. I know that it may seem like a lot to pull yourself out of the house that first week home to go to a photoshoot. However, I promise that photographer, Lisa Rossi, makes newborn photo shoots as simple as they get. She supplies all the outfits and props if you don’t even want to think about it.  Her studio is filled with so many items that you will love.  Or you can supply her with your own as well. I only supplied her with one outfit and blanket and the rest was all her styling.

Her patience and ability to dress and photograph a newborn while keeping them asleep the whole time is incredible. Her studio is inviting, cozy and you can just sit back and relax (and try not to fall asleep). She also captured a few photos of Cash and Beau together that I will cherish forever. And as I always say,  capturing a picture of Cash smiling at a photoshoot is by far the biggest challenge (gotta love 3 year olds!). But somehow she always makes it happen.

Here are some of my favorite shots from our most recent shoot: the last picture in this post is my favorite for a very good reason.

FAVORITE PHOTO:

If you don’t already  know, Beau is our rainbow baby.  Rainbow babies are those who are born after a miscarriage.  Below is a picture of Cash and Beau with an edit I tried to add to it. Look closely and you can see a rainbow going from Cash over Beau’s head with a cloud. And what’s even more special is that I had this picture printed off and it was the only picture (all pictures had the same edit on it)  that printed with iridescent rainbow colors. Crazy how some things in life are just meant to be.
