I don’t know about you guys, but I love a good red lip during the holiday season. It brightens every holiday look and makes you look so festive. However, I know how hard it can be to find a good red lipstick that doesn’t smudge or fade off within an hour. So I’ve done the work for you and tested 3 different ones that I’m loving! The best part- 2 of them are drugstore and all three can be paired with ONE lipliner that I found for you too.
- NYX VELVEST MATTE LIPSTICK: This is one of my favorite finds! This velvet matte is so smooth on your lips and stays all day or night! You don’t have to keep re-applying which is a major plus when your out and about with friends or attending an event. Your lips will never feel dry with this option. Color is Blood Love.
- MAYBELLINE CREAMY MATTE LIPSTICK: This is another matter option but again, never leaves your lips feeling dry! This red has very bright tones so your lips will pop! This lip option is a perfect to pair with a simple holiday look to really add a WOW factor. Color is Siren In Scarlett.
- BOBBI BROWN LUXE LIPSTICK: This lipstick option has true yellow red tones and a glossy finish. This option rejuvenates your lips while plumping and reducing the look of fine lines! While, you do have to re apply throughout the day, it never leaves your lips feeling dry! Color is Parisian Red and is the color I’m wearing in the photo below.
- NYX LIP PENCIL: Loving this lip pencil because it glides one so easily and goes with all my red options. It doesn’t get much easier than that! Color is Knock Em Red.
