I can’t believe it’s already time for another Nordstrom ANNIVERSARY SALE! I realize that lots of you might be completely uninterested and that’s totally fine! But I love to cover sales like this one for those of you who are ready to shop because the deals are amazing! So I’m sharing with you what you should expect from this kind of sale and why so many bloggers cover it.
WHAT IS THE ANNIVERSARY SALE?
This sale is a preseason sale for all of the Fall 2019 trends and fashion! Okay, I get it, its only JULY and you’re thinking “why would I want to shop fall clothes now?” This is why- so many popular brands sold at Nordstrom will be majorly discounted! From designer fashion to their everyday casual fashion, the prices will be so low that you don’t want to miss out!
WHAT SHOULD I SHOP?
So I always suggest shopping your big ticket items that you’re in the market for first! For example, any designer jeans, boots or bags that you’ve been in need of. I know that it’s summer, but for a day or two you just have to gear your mind towards fall for the purpose of the sale. That being said, this sale is not just for all those expensive pieces. If you’re not in the market for pricey designer things, there are SO many amazing everyday trends that will be on sale. Have FUN with this sale. To be honest, this year I’ll be having so much fun with all of the casual stuff and I can’t wait!
WHEN DOES THE SALE START?
Early access starts this Friday, July 12th at 12pm EST! That means that all Nordstrom cardholders shop the sale a week before everyone else! If you don’t have a Nordstrom Card, you’ll have to wait until July 19th when it goes live for public access. If you apply anytime before the early access sale starts for a card, you will instantly be granted early access once approved. You can apply here if you’re interested! I highly suggest applying for this card as there are no annual fees, TONS of perks and sale items sell out quick. The faster you shop, the more likely you are to get what you want!
HOW TO SHOP THE SALE:
Alright here’s the thing. Here in Syracuse, NY there are NO Nordstroms. I mean NONE. Not even close! So what I usually do is get up very early the day the sales starts to shop. However, the sale doesn’t start till 12pm this year so right when it opens up, I’ll shop all my favorites online to make sure I get them! Things sell out quick! Some will restock and some won’t. And you never know what will and what won’t so if you see something you like, snag it quick. That being said, I prefer to shop this sale online for the most part because the stores are crazy during it! If you prefer in store shopping, all card holders have the opportunity to book a FREE appointment with a stylist to help you! Thats the best way to go!
WILL I POST WHAT I BUY DURING THE SALE?
OF COURSE! So since I have to shop this sale online, my items won’t instantly be in my hand to try on for you guys. However, I’ll be rounding up a blog post of all the pieces I purchase along with all of my favorites! So stay tuned for that as an easy shopping guide for you! I will keep updating this Gide throughout the sale since it doesn’t end until August 4th! I usually put in a couple orders throughout!
