Cash’s First Year

Well here we go, cue the tears! I can’t believe I’m about to write a post about Cash’s FIRST YEAR. I have a one year old!?!? And now cue all the cliche sayings: “It goes by so fast,” “Before you know it they’re in college”, blah blah blah. Well this year I’ve learned that time DOES go by way too fast.  I’ve loved watching Cash grow, explore his world, learn new things, achieve a new milestone, and my favorite is watching him be loved by so many amazing people in our lives.

One year ago today, I gained my BEST role yet; being a mommy to my sweet boy.  I can truly say I have never loved a role more.  There is no love like the love your child gives you and that you feel for them everyday.  I literally miss him when he sleeps even if it has been one of those really hard days.  On March 31st, 2017 we were all anxiously awaiting his arrival.  He was definitely being stubborn and I thought for sure he was going to be an April fools baby. But low and behold at 11:51pm he made his grand entrance and I can still remember my first words were, “Oh my god he’s so cute!” And then quickly followed by, “IM SO HAPPY IM NOT PREGNANT ANYMORE!” (it’s not fun for everyone lol).  And then yes of course I immediately asked all the one million questions. mom asks (is he healthy? is he okay? how much doe he weigh? are all his finger and toes there?)

So here are some of my favorite memories and pictures of him from his first year of life! If I post all of the pictures I had of him, you and I would both be sitting here until his 2nd birthday so here’s just a post to sum up the year.

Okay, there’s just a few photos from his first year of life!  I could go on FOREVER with but I’ll stop there for you guys.  I’m so glad to be sharing this journey of motherhood with all of you. It’s been such an amazing, inspirational year with so much growth, mostly as a mother, but also as a wife, working woman, blogger, friend, etc. I hope to always be able to make and keep this boy as happy as he is now.  Being a mommy is the hardest job that one can take on, but all of those hard days and moments are followed by days and moments that can never be topped! It truly is a “journey” and ours has just begun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASH CHRISTOPHER BOTSFORD- YOU ARE OUR WORLD!
